Rajju Shroff ROFEL University is a State Private University, established by Govt. of Gujarat vide its Act No. 7 of Gujarat Private Universities (Amendment) Act of 2023 further amending the Gujarat Private Universities Act No. 8 of 2009 and approved under section 22 of UGC Act 1956.

Rotarian and Chairman of United Phosphorous Ltd., Padma Bhushan Shri Rajjubhai Shroff is heading Rajju Shroff ROFEL University as Chairman. Hon’ble Shri Kanubhai Desai (Cabinet Minister of Finance, Energy and Petrochemicals, Govt. of Gujarat) is a trust member and the Club Mentor Past Rotary International President Rtn. Kalyan Banerjee are the think tanks of the University.
