Rtn. Kalyan Banerjee, Rotary International President (2011-12). He is the Director of UPL Ltd. and Uniphos Agro Industries Ltd., and Chairman of UPL Bangladesh Ltd. He was the past president of VIA twice, and former Chairperson of the Gujarat Chapter of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). He served as a Director, Rotary Foundation; Trustee, Committee and Task Force Chair, International Assembly Group Discussion Leader. He was Chairman of Southeast Asia Regional Polio Plus Committee and member of International Polio Plus Committee. He also attended international meetings with the WHO and UNICEF.
